AND POLICE TELL US THAT THIS STARTED AS AN ARGUMENT BETWEEN FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE THIS MORNING, AND IT ENDED WITH TWO STUDENTS BEING SHOT. WHEN I HEARD STUDENTS CRYING OUT IN PAIN AT AROUND THREE IN THE MORNING ON SATURDAY, POLICE RESPOND TO A SHOOTING ON THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO’S CAMPUS. I WALKED OVER TO HIM AND I SAW THAT HE HAD BEEN SHOT IN THE LEG. THEY SAY TWO STUDENTS WERE SHOTS, ONE, A 19 YEAR OLD FROM UNM AND THE OTHER A 21 YEAR OLD FROM NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY. WHEN I GOT THERE, I JUST STAYED WITH HIM. I GAVE HIM MY JACKET. I GAVE HIM SOME WARM HEATING PADS. JOSEPH MANN IS A UNM STUDENT HIMSELF F AND HE SAYS HE SAW THE AFTERMATH. I TRIED NOT TO PANIC BECAUSE THE GUY LOOKED LIKE HE WAS HAVING THE WORST PAIN HE’S EVER EXPERIENCED. THAT INTIMACY. STUDENT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. UNFORTUNATE. HE WAS A STUDENT ATHLETE.
